Business Development Representative, Healthcare

Sunnyvale, CA

OLOID · Sunnyvale, CA · Full time

Hospitals run on shared workstations and badge taps, and every tap is a login. That is the problem OLOID solves, and it is why health systems are the natural next market after its Fortune 500 manufacturing and retail customers. This seat owns top of funnel for that patch, sitting alongside a dedicated healthcare enterprise seller.

How we sell

We have built a modern selling motion and you will have the tech stack you would expect. You open the organisational conversations it runs on, multi threading across clinical, security, IT and executive buyers, and every meeting you book is qualified to MEDDPICC standards. You are the designated BDR for an enterprise seller and work as a true partner with them and with pre sales, and the wins are shared across the team.

Why now

2027 is a big year. Revenue is up 600 percent since the Series A and we are going after seven figure enterprise deals. Microsoft retires SMS and voice MFA in Entra ID in February 2027, which pushes every enterprise toward exactly what we sell. Healthcare is the next big market, and Aura, our AI identity assurance agent, is already part of Workday’s Agent System of Record.

A lean team with real ownership

This is a lean commercial team reporting into our core executive team. You own your patch and your number end to end, with real influence over how we sell and who joins next.

Is this you?

It is not for the faint hearted. You will wear many hats, build pipeline without a big machine behind you, and make calls without a playbook. If you have sold in a high growth environment and bring a growth mindset, you will thrive here, at a genuinely exciting moment for the company.

Why OLOID

OLOID builds passwordless identity for frontline workers and shared devices: the nurse, the line worker, the store associate who moves between shared workstations all shift, often with no work smartphone. They sign in with a face, a badge tap or NFC, layered onto Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity and the systems a company already runs. Tyson Foods, PepsiCo, GE, Takeda, Flex and Honeywell are customers, and we are backed by Dell Technologies Capital, Okta Ventures and Honeywell Ventures.

What you will do

  • Own top of funnel for healthcare: roughly 60 percent cold outbound, 40 percent warm leads and inbound
  • Build target lists of the people worth reaching inside health systems, and multi thread rather than firing at one contact
  • Run outreach across calling, email and social, and qualify inbound from events and campaigns
  • Book meetings and demos, brief the account executive properly, and work as their partner through the deal
  • Mine the CRM for new needs in prospects already there

What you bring

  • 1 to 3 years in lead generation, sales or marketing, with at least 12 months of real outbound
  • A genuine understanding of how US health systems buy and who signs
  • A methodical, research first approach. Twenty researched messages beat two hundred sprayed ones
  • Based in the Bay Area, or ready to relocate
  • Resilience. There are a lot of no answers, and patience matters more than polish

Great if you also have

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, not required. People who do this well move into product, pre sales and customer facing roles, and OLOID will build toward that deliberately.

Where you work

Full time in our Sunnyvale office. You must live in the San Francisco Bay Area or be prepared to relocate. We are investing in building an in person team at our Sunnyvale hub.

Pay and the rest

Guideline base $80,000 to $90,000, $110,000 on target, set on experience. Medical insurance, 401k and unlimited vacation. Equity is part of every offer. You must be authorised to work in the US without employer visa sponsorship, now or in the future. OLOID is an equal opportunity employer.

Interview stages

  1. Intro call with our talent team. About 30 minutes on your background, your track record and what you are looking for.
  2. First interview with the hiring manager. How you prospect, how you qualify and how you work as a true partner with your AE.
  3. Pipeline walkthrough with commercial leadership. Take us through pipeline you built: your outreach, the meetings you booked and how you qualified them.
  4. Final conversation with our executive team. Where you want to take your career, and how you would help build what comes next.

You will hear where you stand at every stage.

Come ready

Be confident in your past successes and ready to walk the team through them: the pipeline you built, the meetings you booked and what they turned into. We will ask for specifics, so bring them.
