The Challenge
Egnyte is headquartered in an independent, self-managed building with an on-premise physical access control system. While the existing system provided adequate security and card-based access management, it lacked modern capabilities, such as API-integration-enabled conditional access, automated provisioning, and mobile access. Additionally, Egnyte’s existing system relied on physical RFID cards and lacked mobile access capabilities.As Egnyte reopened its offices after the pandemic, it needed to significantly revamp its physical access policies and processes.
